Two Generational Training

https://news.northwestern.edu/stories/2017/may/educating-generations-to-tackle-poverty/

I read the above article (by Erin Karter) about generational training and early childhood education being combined to help target workforce needs and breaking the cycle of poverty, many families find themselves. I thought this might be the wave of the future. How can we develop innovative programs and what creative ideas can we take from this and apply to workforce development?

I do not have any answers, but it does make me think we need to start looking at combining resources and programs. What new ways can workforce development programs integrate other programs to help make a stronger workforce. Generational training is an interesting original approach. It is time workforce development programs start being more innovative and trying new approaches like discussed in this article.
